Day 1: Hanoi airport pick up – Halong City tour

Welcome to Hanoi – The capital city of Vietnam. Hanoi – the Capital City is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam. Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to Halong city. This four hours drive will take you through the Red River Delta, with lots of countryside on the way so you can see and smell rural life in Vietnam.

Plenty of chance to take photos of Vietnamese farmers, working with water buffalo and cows on the vast green paddy field. At half way, we will have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes and embroidered paintings.

Have breakfast at hotel then get picked for 20 minutes drive to Tuan Chau Island.

Get on boat at Tuan Chau Marina and start cruising through hundreds of limestone islands and islets on the bay

Start the trip at 8:30 as below:

Drive down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley dotting remote hill tribe villages such as Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai village of Hmong peole, Ta Van of Dzay people, the villages surrounded by stunning rice terraces. You will take a short walking down to Lao Chai village from main road, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Visit local families which offer you a worth chance to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Last trek is about 1Km to the bus stop in Ta Van, drive back to Sapa for lunch.

After lunch, car and guide pick up for short drive down to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes. Cat Cat village, home to H’Mong ethnic people. They are excellent “tho cam” weavers (kind of brocade fabrics). “Tho cam” of Cat Cat village boasts special quality as it is dyed with natural colors, polished with beeswax and embroidered with unique designs.

Day 4: Sapa Tour – Silver Water Fall – Heaven Gate

After breakfast we drive up toward Sa Pa heaven’s gate, is the highest point of Vietnam’s roads, 2,000 meters above sea level. At the top of the pass, you can see Lai Chau’s beautiful valleys below. From the pass, visitors can admire the imposing panorama of Fansipan mountain, the highest mountain in Indochina.

Stop for visiting Silver Water Fall, the highest fall in Sapa.

Trekking along the Golden Stream, you will arrive at Love Waterfall. It is the best place for relax in Sapa, returning to Tram Ton Pass. Then we continue our drive uphill to the Heavens Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam as well as the provincial border of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. Enjoy fantastic view over the valley!

15.00 Get picked up by Limousine van for transferring back to Hanoi. This journey will take about 6-hours on a newly built free way along the Red River. Take your time to enjoy stunning landscape along the way.

Visit Fansipan Mountain by the cable car. As you know the cable car in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top. After taking scenery then get cable car back to Sapa.
